Public input sought on transitional housing project in Bernalillo County

BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. — Bernalillo County needs your input on a plan to convert an old hotel into transitional housing in Albuquerque.

Bernalillo County converted the old Comfort Inn, near Coronado Park, into temporary apartments. It’s a 90-day program to help families find permanent housing.

County officials invited community members to weigh in Monday night on the Good Neighbor Agreement for Ponderosa Place. That agreement includes commitments from those operating the facility, those living there and zero-tolerance rules around the property…
