Holiday lights festival returning to downtown Reno with free festive fun

RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The Holiday Lights Festival returns to Downtown Reno this November 28–29 and December 5–6 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., transforming the heart of downtown into a winter wonderland of lights, music, and holiday cheer.

Everything is free at this family-friendly festival including:

  • Free admission for all attendees
  • Free booth spaces for artists, crafters, and makers selling handmade goods
  • Free train rides through the festival route
  • Free photos with Santa
  • Free Christmas movies at the pop-up holiday cinema
  • Free live entertainment across multiple stages

“The Holiday Lights Festival is our way of giving back to the community,” Brighton Denison, Festival Organizer, said in a statement. “We’re proud to host one of the only events anywhere that offers free participation for both artists and attendees. It’s truly a celebration of creativity, community, and holiday spirit.”
