Body camera footage shows rescue of driver involved in high-speed Scotia crash

NewsChannel 13 has obtained body camera footage of a man involved in a high-speed crash in Scotia back in September.

Police said Dominic Poggoli, 26, was going 110 mph per hour on Cuthbert Street just before 5 a.m. on Sept. 26. The speed limit is 30 mph in that area. An officer had to move his car out of the way to avoid a head-on crash, investigators said.

Poggoli flipped his car over an embankment at Cuthbert Street near North Ballston Avenue. It went over four lanes of traffic before landing upside down in a grassy area…
