EASTON, Pa. — A community food drive at the Easton Farmers Market on Saturday, Nov. 8 will aim to support local families facing food insecurity and to bolster pantry supplies amid the pause in federal food assistance.
The drive will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Scott Park along the riverfront in downtown Easton. A collection tent will be set up near the Larry Holmes statue.
The event is organized by Easton City Council Member Crystal Rose in partnership with the Easton Farmers Market and local volunteers. Organizers are seeking donations of fresh produce, nonperishable food items and grocery store gift cards.
