WAYNESVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) – Police have arrested a man after a brief standoff in Waynesville.
According to Waynesville Police Department, on Tuesday morning officers were called to a home on Fargo Lane for a reported domestic disturbance. Before arriving at the scene, police were told the suspect, later identified as 30-year-old Christopher Lee Ramey, had discharged a gun and was barricaded in the home.
Police said a woman and an infant child were able to get out of the home and met with responding officer. Members of the WPD Negotiation Team were called to the scene and were able to get Ramey to surrender to police…
