CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Port Clinton woman sent to prison for helping direct Cleveland street takeovers is seeking early judicial release, and Cuyahoga County prosecutors do not oppose the request.
Ashlyn Rogers, 23, previously pleaded guilty to disrupting public services and aggravated rioting, fourth- and fifth-degree felonies, for helping direct seven street takeovers in Cleveland last year.
Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Kira Krivosh in July sentenced Rogers to 18 months in prison. Rogers’ attorney, Brad Wolfe, objected to the sentence. He then filed a request, under seal, for Rogers’ early release on Sept. 5…
