MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga. (WRBL) — The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office and the Russell County Sheriff’s Office concluded a joint operation Tuesday that resulted in the arrest of the alleged leader of a local drug trafficking operation.
Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman says his office identified Jonathan Provo as being the alleged leader of a local drug trafficking organization. The investigation resulted in the seizure of more than $243,000 worth of drugs. Police say they seized the following:
- Xanax – 1,350.5 pills with an estimated street value of $33,762.50
- Marijuana – 24.9 lbs. with an estimated street value of $112,965.00
- Ketamine – 171.7 grams with an estimated street value of $17,170.00
- Methamphetamine – 69.1 grams with an estimated street value of $6,910.00
- Cocaine – 29 grams with an estimated street value of $2,900.00
- Fentanyl – 8 grams with an estimated street value of $2,400.00
- Acid – 345 tabs with an estimated street value of $3,450.00
- Percocet – 500 tablets with an estimated street value of $12,500.00
- Psilocybin Mushrooms – 30.5 grams with an estimated street value of $475.50
- Psilocybin Mushroom Gummies – 400 grams with an estimated street value of $6,000.00
- Psilocybin Mushroom Chocolate Bars – 4 bars with an estimated street value of $3,480.00
- THC Gummies – 877.9 grams with an estimated street value of $1,725.00
- THC A – 224 grams with an estimated street value of $5,600.00
- Spice – 3,441.7 grams with an estimated street value of $34,417.00
- 4 pistols, including one modified to work in a fully automatic capacity
- 3 rifles
- United States Currency – $6,750.00
The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office along with the Russell County Sheriff office executed two search warrants that led to seizure of those drugs.
Jonathan Provo was arrested, transported to the Russell County Jail and charged with trafficking marijuana, trafficking fentanyl, trafficking opiates, trafficking spice, possession of cocaine with intent, possession of marijuana, possession and conversion of pistol into a machine gun and violation of probation…
