LAWRENCEVILLE — In the lead-up to Veterans Day, Gwinnett County is inviting residents, businesses, and community organizations to show their gratitude to those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces by lighting their homes, offices, and storefronts green from November 4 through November 11.
The initiative is part of Operation Green Light for Veterans, a national campaign led by the National Association of Counties (NACo) to honor veterans and raise awareness about the challenges many face after returning home from service.
Gwinnett County is joining hundreds of counties, cities, and towns across the country in illuminating buildings and landmarks green as a visible expression of support.
