Two charged after dogs removed from Evansville home with no food, water, or power, police say

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Two people are facing animal cruelty charges after several dogs were found living in conditions that police described as horrific.

In early October, police say they received a report from someone who was concerned about dogs being kept at a home on Weinbach Avenue.

The caller told police that the dogs had already been seized once due to neglect, and that the people who were supposed to care for them – Joseph Lofton and Natosha Allen- only come every few days…
