Vanderburgh County authorities bust two for suspected drug dealing

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Two people are in the Vanderburgh County Jail after authorities state they were dealing cocaine and marijuana.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says detectives with the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force began receiving information in September that Ramiro Chapa, Jr. was distributing cocaine in the Evansville area.

Detectives started an investigation, and on November 3, a search warrant was signed for Chapa’s residence in the 600 block of East Florida Street. The search resulted in the seizure of about 73 grams of suspected cocaine, 247 grams of suspected marijuana and digital scales…
