The sheriff’s office said at around 12:27 a.m., deputies responded to the 100 block of A Street in Empire for a report of gunfire at a Halloween party. While deputies were on their way, dispatch confirmed there were multiple gunshot victims.

When officials arrived at the scene, they located two adult male victims and immediately began life-saving measures. Witnesses reported that during the party, they heard gunshots and people began running from the area.
