LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The City of La Vergne is moving forward with a major development called Twinning Station, a mixed-use development project planned just off the west side of I-24 along Waldron Road.
The 77-acre project will bring new residential and office space, as well as shops, restaurants and entertainment options. La Vergne’s economic development director said the Twinning Station will add hundreds of jobs to the area and bring in millions of dollars in tax revenue to the city.
“Historically, there’s nothing like this that’s ever been done in La Vergne, and I’m going to go on a limb and say this will be one of its kind in Rutherford County,” La Vergne Economic Development Director Tom Broeker told News 2. “It’s upwards of $350,000 million to $500 million; it’s still evolving. We have had great interest from retailers and businesses that want to be there at this point. It will be something that will be a game changer for La Vergne forever.”…
