Good Samaritan doctor uses regenerative therapy to help cancer survivors heal

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — We all know someone who’s faced cancer and for many, beating it feels like the end of the story. But for some survivors, the treatment that saved their life can bring new struggles years later. And doctors say it can happen to anyone who’s undergone radiation.

Wellington resident Victor Connor thought he’d left cancer behind after surviving stage four throat cancer. What he didn’t expect were the lasting side effects from radiation.

“The cancer doctors cure your cancer. When they’re done, they’re done. They don’t talk about what’s going to happen five years or ten years later,” Connor said…
