The Wisconsin Humane Society is asking for the public’s help finding homes — both temporary and forever — for a large number of cats in the wake of an “unprecedented intake of animals,” according to a Nov. 4 news release.
On Oct. 31 alone, the Wisconsin Humane Society had 121 cats and kittens dropped off as surrenders or strays, across multiple of the organization’s six campuses, according to the news release.
