MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Families across our area are relying on food banks and pantries after the food assistance program known as SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) was recently halted as a result of the government shutdown. Now, local organizations are stepping up in this time of need.
That includes Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, who just launched their “Food for the Holidays” campaign.
