OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A Miami man repeatedly traveled to Omaha to steal more than $45,000 from three Nebraska banks and their customers using only a cellphone, according to Douglas County authorities.
Jordan Janvier, 33, was arrested in Miami and extradited to Omaha on charges related to a “smishing” scam that used fake text messages to trick bank customers into revealing their account information.
