Upscale Tulsa Apartment Complexes Hit by Car Burglary Spree as Police Seek Suspect with Public’s Help

A string of car burglaries has struck the upscale apartment complexes of Tulsa, sparking concerns among residents about the safety of their vehicles and possessions. On October 22, the Tulsa Police Department was called to The Cosmopolitan, University Club Towers, Mansion House Apartments, and Lincoln Park Apartments, where multiple vehicles had been targeted by thieves.

At The Cosmopolitan located at 1717 Riverside Drive, Tulsa officers found a car burglarized with a rifle missing and burglary tools left at the scene, these items are now with the police as evidence. While another vehicle, a Mercedes Benz, was thoroughly ransacked at the same property, no valuables were taken but a flashlight found on the premises is being examined for leads. These incidents also included an attempted theft and the significant loss of a firearm and $4,000 in cash from different victims at the upscale dwelling complex.

The spree didn’t stop at The Cosmopolitan; secure parking garages at University Club Towers and Mansion House Apartments also fell victim to the burglars. Cars within these supposedly safe confines had their interiors violated, with articles pilfered as the burglars made their rounds. Adding insult to injury, the audacious thieves took off with a vehicle from The Cosmopolitan’s parking garage, however, it was subsequently found abandoned at 1100 W 22nd Street…
