BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — After another year of collecting pull tabs, a Boise family donated 233-plus pounds of them to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho in memory of a beloved family member.
James and Stephanie Colquitt first shared their story and plea for pull tabs with us in 2024. Since then, even more people from around the country and the Treasure Valley have contributed, including the Kuna School District, which now collects tabs from students year-round for the Colquitts.
After the family gathered and delivered their biggest Halloween donation yet to the charity, Stephanie said, “It was an honor to be able to take our donation; now to start saving for next year!”…
