Burglars cut copper pipes from Centennial BBQ restaurant’s refrigerator

DENVER (KDVR) — Law enforcement is trying to identify three suspects connected to the theft of copper pipes from a Centennial restaurant in early September, and released suspect photos on Monday to the public.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said that at about 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 7, the trio broke into Bono’s Pit B-B-Q in the 9300 block of East Dry Creek Road.

Police investigators said that the three men entered the building through the back patio and removed the copper pipes from several of the restaurant’s refrigerator cooling units. The pipes were then put into suitcases and the men left the scene.

Police shared still images from surveillance footage taken at a nearby Regional Transportation District Light Rail Station that the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said shows the suspects are white males wearing blue jeans and black hoodies.

Additionally, one suspect was wearing a red baseball cap, another wore a blue plaid cap and the third had a black cap covered by a hoodie…
