Fire at Las Vegas Chinatown businesses causes $250K in damages

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A building fire in the central Las Vegas valley caused a portion of Spring Mountain Road to close Monday night, according to RTC Southern Nevada.

Around 8 p.m., fire crews responded to the 2-alarm fire at the Center at Spring Mountain, located at 3929 Spring Mountain Road near Valley View Road.

Security for the Center at Spring Mountain told 8 News Now that the popular bar, Golden Tiki, will be closed for the remainder of the night despite not being impacted by the fire. The fire was contained to Señor iPhone Repair Shop and Gold Rush Smoke Shop, Clark County fire officials said.

There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters, according to the Clark County Fire Department Battalion Chief. The cause of the fire is ruled as undetermined/accidental with a dollar loss of around $250,000…
