Man convicted of filming reckless driving in Portland back in jail for probation violation

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – A 33-year-old man convicted of filming himself driving recklessly in North Portland is back in Multnomah County Jail.

Oscar Burell Jr. was arrested on Monday and is set to appear before a judge Tuesday after being accused of violating the terms of his probation. The arrest comes less than two months after he was sentenced to a year and a half probation and had his license suspended in September.

Burell was originally convicted for driving recklessly through Peninsula Park. He filmed himself doing doughnuts with his truck, leaving tire tracks in the grass and driving on a pedestrian walkway…
