The Bagel Hole to Open Soon in Dawsonville

DAWSONVILLE, GA — The Bagel Hole is planning to open at 205 Blue Ridge Pkwy #100, Dawsonville, GA 30534. Franchise owner Mallory LaCoursiere told Business Debut the team is targeting an opening between January and the end of February. Business Debut learned about this story first from Dawson News.

What to Expect

The Bagel Hole, originally founded by Gary and Kathy in Alpharetta, brings a New Jersey-style bagel shop to North Georgia. The Dawsonville location will serve breakfast and lunch, including freshly made bagels, cream cheese spreads in rotating seasonal flavors, egg sandwiches, and a variety of deli-style options such as chicken salad, egg salad, and tuna salad. Guests can order at the counter and dine inside, outside, or take their food to go.

The space will offer seating for roughly 15 to 20 guests and will span between 1,400 and 1,800 square feet. LaCoursiere described the atmosphere as casual and family friendly.

Menu and Vision

LaCoursiere and her husband, Brian, have been planning to bring a quality breakfast and bagel shop to the Dawsonville and North Cumming area for years. “When we moved here eight years ago, we realized there wasn’t anywhere nearby for a great bagel or breakfast spot,” she told Business Debut. “We used to drive 30 or 35 minutes just to get a bagel. We wanted to bring something the community is missing.”

The couple decided to invest in the franchise after visiting The Bagel Hole and seeing the brand’s success. “They have a fantastic product,” LaCoursiere said. “When they opened up the opportunity to franchise, we knew this was our chance.”

Background

This will be the couple’s first restaurant and business venture. “We’ve both worked in restaurants growing up, and we always wanted to be on the other side—creating a place where people feel welcome,” LaCoursiere said. “We want it to be a joyful place for the community, where people can stop in for good food and good company.”…
