On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, all Greensboro city offices and several facilities will be closed for Veterans Day. Closed locations include the Melvin Municipal Office Building, J. Edward Kitchen Operations Center, Greensboro Public Libraries, Greensboro Cultural Center, and Parks and Recreation administrative offices and centers. There will be no garbage, recycling, or yard waste collection on November 11. These services will resume on November 12. The White Street Landfill and Solid Waste Transfer Station will also be closed on the holiday.
