Data center plans near Kalamazoo put on hold after community backlash

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI — The idea of building a data center in Pavilion Township has been put on hold for now.

Real estate development firm Franklin Partners approached the township in August to ask a township ordinance be amended to allow “data warehousing facilities” to be constructed.
