LANSING, Mich. — The former bookkeeper for the Early Learning Neighborhood Collaborative is heading to federal prison for four-and-a-half years.
The sentencing was rendered by Judge Hala Jarou in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. The clerk’s office in Lansing told WOOD Radio the sentence was 54 months for Sharon Killebrew.
Killebrew, 70, was the finance director for the agency at the time of the crime. Investigators said she conspired with some members to steal about $1.17 million beginning in 2016. The Early Learning Neighborhood Collaborative folded in 2023…
