I realize that Halloween 2025 is in the books and we’ve made a sharp turn toward the holiday season. However, just a few days ago I saw a spooky story that caught my attention. Why? It named the most haunted building in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
THE MOST HAUNTED BUILDING IN EVERY STATE
Business Insider recently published its list of The Most Haunted Building in Every State. Though I am a relentless skeptic, I was curious to see which building took the honors in my home state. As it turns out, it was a building I’m not sure I have ever heard of.
Over the years, I have heard of many haunted Kentucky locations. The more famous buildings include Waverly Hills in Louisville and Bob Mackey’s Music World in Wilder.

THE MOST HAUNTED BUILDING IN KENTUCKY
However, according to Business Insider, THE most haunted building in Kentucky is Loudoun House in Lexington, which was built back in 1851 and was the home of Francis Key Hunt.
As you’ll hear in the video below, there seem to be at least two female residents of Loudoun House who refuse to leave it…
