According to NBC Los Angeles, the security officer, a male in his 50s, was shot and later attended to by emergency services. His condition remains undisclosed. The authorities, embroiled in an ongoing investigation, are on the lookout for the trio implicated in the crime, with KTLA describing the suspects as three Hispanic males, one dressed in black and the other two in black over gray clothing. They were last seen in a blue Jeep, making their escape roughly around 2 p.m., amidst the crowded streets as children were leaving school and residents like Antonia Dominguez were going about their daily routines. Dominguez told KTLA, “It’s very scary,” expressing disbelief that such an event could transpire during such a congested hour.

As the investigation unfolds, one suspect has already been apprehended in the aftermath of the shocking crime. Still, two perpetrators remain at large, as reported by FOX 11.
