Louisville airports maintain normal operations amid nationwide issues due to government shutdown

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville’s airports are continuing to operate normally despite long lines and delays at other airports across the nation caused by staffing shortages amid the ongoing government shutdown.

The shutdown, now in its 34th day, has tied the record for the longest shutdown in U.S. history. The previous record was set during Donald Trump’s first presidency.
