Leesfield Partners will hold a free professional development session for early-career attorneys in Miami. The event, called ‘Preparation for Trial: Strategies, Resources and Innovations,’ is part of the ‘Classroom to Courtroom’ series. It is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Leesfield Partners office on South Dixie Highway. The session is open to lawyers with five years of experience or less, and only 15 seats are available.
Speakers include Magistrate Judge Detra Shaw-Wilder of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Richard P. Cole of Cole Scott & Kissane, and Jaret Davis of Greenberg Traurig. Ira Leesfield, the firm’s founder, will moderate. The curriculum was developed with input from legal professionals, including retired Supreme Court Chief Justice R. Fred Lewis and Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle.
The series features judges, attorneys, and legal educators such as Senior Judge Paul Huck, Chief Judge Edwin Scales, and H. T. Smith from Florida International University College of Law.
