NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Closing arguments are set to begin Wednesday in Abby Zwerner’s trial against the Newport News School Division and former assistant principal Ebony Parker over a 2023 classroom shooting at Richneck Elementary.
The defense rested their case on Monday. Parker presented her side of the story and brought forward two key witnesses: a forensic and clinical psychologist and a school safety expert.
