Dresher man facing felony charges after DEA investigation leads to seizure of 12 guns, according to police

Corey Smith, 37, of the 1600 block of Tuckerstown Road in Dresher, is facing felony charges related to sale of firearms and his connection to drugs, according to police.

Smith became the subject of a joint DEA and Montgomery County Detective Bureau investigation after a DEA wiretap captured him offering firearms for sale to a target in a drug case.

Smith was identified as a heavy user of illegal Percocet (Oxycodone) pills and had purchased at least 14 firearms, prompting an inquiry into potential illegal firearm transfers…
