ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — An Attleboro pharmacy was left substantially compromised after a car slammed into the side of the building Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.
Firefighters were called to the CVS off Washington Street just before 2 p.m. after receiving reports of a vehicle that had crashed into the building.
The pharmacy was open and occupied at the time of the crash, which caused significant structural damage to the building. Images from inside the store showed damaged shelves and beauty products strewn across the floor.
The driver, identified only as an elderly woman, was brought to Sturdy Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. No one else was injured in the crash…
