Over 500 Drivers Arrested for DUI on Halloween Night – Saturday Morning

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> For the first time, Halloween was designated as a CHP Maximum Enforcement Period and he is the results.

During a 12-hour period on Halloween night and Saturday morning, CHP officers made 503 DUI arrests, issued 1,943 speeding tickets (including 96 tickets for driving faster than 100 mph), and handled 6 fatal crashes.

“We appreciate everyone who chose to celebrate responsibly,” CHP said. “Together, we can reduce impaired driving, prevent dangerous driving, and keep our communities safe……
