Raleigh Water will take its billing system offline for four days, from November 7 to November 11, 2025. The shutdown is to install a new customer billing portal. The new system is set to launch on Wednesday, November 12, at 8:30 a.m. Customers and contractors should complete any needed transactions by 5 p.m. on Friday, November 7.
During the outage, customers cannot pay water, stormwater, or solid waste bills online, in person, or by phone. Requests to start, stop, or transfer service will not be processed. Applications for financial assistance through Project Share will also be unavailable. City staff, including call center workers, will have limited access to account information.
