No Casualties in Recent Long Beach Shooting as Police Seek Information on Suspect

The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) released a statement about a shooting incident that took place on November 1 in the city, adding to the string of violent occurrences that have been demanding public and law enforcement attention. According to a report published by the LBPD on November 2, officers were called to the 1000 block of Gaviota Avenue after being alerted to a shots-fired situation around 4:20 p.m. the previous day.

The police arrived on the scene to discover that, fortunately, there were no casualties resulting from the gunfire. Four individuals, referred to as male adult and juvenile victims in the official police blotter, were in the vicinity at the time of the shooting. They were unharmed despite an unknown suspect discharging a firearm near them.
