The Wall of Remembrance at Veterans Memorial Park in New Castle, Delaware, will be officially dedicated after recent renovations and expansion. The ceremony is scheduled for November 11, 2025, from 10:00 to 10:25 a.m. It will honor more than 16,000 service members from Delaware and New Jersey who died in service to the United States from World War II to the present.
Speakers at the event will include Delaware Governor Matt Meyer, U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester, and U.S. Representative Sarah McBride. Joel Coppadge, Executive Director of the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA), will be the master of ceremonies. The program will feature a ribbon cutting and the raising of six service flags, including the Space Force flag.
