ARMSTRONG COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Texas Department of Public Safety released information on a Monday morning crash on US 287, east of Washburn, in which one Indiana man died.
According to Texas DPS, at around 6:20 a.m. on Monday, a 28-year-old Indiana man was driving eastbound in a 2008 Ford Fusion on US 287, about two miles east of Washburn. Then, “for an unknown reason,” he allegedly “slammed on the brakes and took evasive action,” causing the car to skid. The car left the roadway and rolled over multiple times, ejecting the Indiana man.
Texas DPS said he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected during the rollover. He was taken to an area hospital, but died from his injuries…
