Fire in Baton Rouge takes more than 1 hour to extinguish Tuesday afternoon

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Firefighters battled flames at a building near Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, November 4.

According to the Baton Rouge Fire Department, the fire broke out just before 3 p.m. on Main Street near the church. The flames took more than one hour to extinguish.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from a storage shed near the back of the building…
