Lubbock Favorite Big Wick’s Expands Its Popular Ranch Seasoning Line

Lubbock’s own Big Wick’s, a fan-favorite local condiment and seasoning brand known for its flavorful smoked jalapeno flavors, is stirring up excitement once again. The West Texas maker has just expanded its ranch seasoning line, introducing two new flavor varieties that promise to elevate everything from popcorn to poppers. Here’s what you need to know about the latest additions and where you can grab them.

A Lubbock Original With Big Flavor

What started as jars of jelly for friends and family has turned into go-to staple glazes and seasonings in Lubbock kitchens and beyond. Big Wick’s is available in many stores across the state, including the venerated Meat Church in Waxahachie.

New Flavors In The Big Wick’s Ranch Line

In addition to the popular Original Smoked Jalapeño Ranch Mix, you can now purchase Tex-Mex Ranch Mix and Texi-Cajun Ranch Mix. They are even available as an oh-so-giftable three-pack. All three varieties are available at Big Wick’s website. The new ranch flavors will be available at retail outlets soon.

Ways to Use Big Wick’s Ranch Seasoning

You can whip up ranch dressing the way you like:

Ranch dip:

  • Mix 3 tablespoons with 16oz of sour cream. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.

Ranch dressing:

  • Mix 3 tablespoons with 1 cup of milk or buttermilk & 1 cup of mayonnaise.

Or you can do what I do and add it to a cup of Greek yogurt and eat a ton of it for very few calories. It can also be used as a seasoning for most any meat, in cream cheese for poppers, and more. I sprinkle some on top of my mac n’ cheese at lunch, and it was perfection.
