Cy-Fair High School Marching Band Advances to UIL Class 6A State Finals: A Proud Moment for CFISD and the Cypress Community

The Cy-Fair High School marching band has earned a coveted spot in the UIL Class 6A State Marching Band Championship Finals, a prestigious achievement in Texas high school music education. The announcement came after a stellar preliminary round performance at the Alamodome in San Antonio on November 3, 2025.

Cy-Fair’s finals performance is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, when the Bobcat band will take the field with their 2025 show titled “Flicker.”

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) State Marching Band Contest is widely considered the pinnacle of high school marching competition in Texas—home to some of the most competitive and high-performing programs in the nation.
