ST. LOUIS – One person was injured after a stolen vehicle crashed into a restaurant in the Baden neighborhood Monday morning while fleeing police.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), Anti-Crime Task Force officers were alerted to reports of a stolen Infiniti. Officers located that stolen vehicle at a gas station, but the driver, identified as 40-year-old Corey Davis, sped off.
Police say they successfully deployed spike strips to the Infiniti as it drove off, but Davis continued driving at high speed, exceeding 100 mph.
