Pueblo critical incident team investigating after auto theft suspect shot in Pueblo West

An auto theft suspect was shot and injured by a Monument police officer on Nov. 4 following a more than 60-mile vehicle pursuit that began in El Paso County and ended in a field west of Interstate 25 in Pueblo West.

The 10th Judicial Critical Incident Team is investigating, according to a news release from the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office.
