Hard freeze expected in the Triangle soon. Here’s the latest forecast

Temperatures in the Triangle are expected to drop below freezing soon, but not before warming up first.

On Thursday, Nov. 6, temperatures will hover around normal, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s, said James Danco, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Raleigh.
