TBI Hiring Victim Services Coordinators to Support Local Residents in Chattanooga and Surrounding Areas

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is accepting applications for two Victim Services Coordinator positions in its Criminal Investigation Division. These jobs are based in East Tennessee and will serve the Chattanooga/Cookeville and Knoxville/Johnson City areas. The application period runs from November 5 to November 11, 2025.

Victim Services Coordinators will identify and assess victims who need support. They will inform victims about their rights and available compensation. Coordinators will also provide updates on case and court proceedings. The job includes notifying families about deaths and working with service providers such as shelters, mental health professionals, hospitals, and emergency services.

The coordinators will keep in contact with community partners and help create a list of resources for victims. They will assist Special Agents at crime scenes, help return property and evidence, and take part in both administrative and direct service tasks.
