‘Out of control’ controlled burn spreads to woods, multiple cars in Dauphin County

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A fire in Dauphin County that overtook a shed and multiple cars was reportedly a controlled burn, according to Londonderry Fire Company.

The fire was first reported around 11:48 a.m. in the 3000 block of Hill Road in Conewago Township.

The blaze was first believed to be a 2-alarm house fire, but officials stated that it was actually a controlled burn that “got out of control.”…
