JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A motorcyclist was killed on the Westside Wednesday afternoon after colliding with an SUV attempting to make a left turn, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says.
The man, in his mid-30s, was reportedly traveling northbound on Edgewood Avenue in the Paxon area around 3:38 p.m. A woman in her mid-80s was driving an SUV southbound, according to JSO, and attempted to turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue. When she turned, she collided with the oncoming motorcycle.
Paramedics responded to the crash to treat the man, but JSO said he died on the scene…
