Villager with history of drug arrests lands in jail again

A Villager with a history of drug arrests has landed in jail again.

Jon Clayton Fillingim, 56, of the Village of Virginia Trace, was driving a white Mazda at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in Leesburg when an officer noticed the vehicle did not have a functioning tag light, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

During a traffic stop, the officer noticed a “glass smoking device” sticking out the Ohio native’s shirt pocket. A folded-up piece of foil was found in his wallet and it contained a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.
