ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 50-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly assaulted and injured an officer during an arrest.
According to the Rochester Police Department, officers were responding to a domestic incident on Holworthy Street at 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday when the involved suspect, identified as Stephen Fuller, began to yell threats directed towards the victim and became “belligerent” to officers.
Fuller was eventually taken into custody during the incident. Police said he leaned back and kicked an officer in the face, injuring them, as he was being put in the patrol car. The officer was treated for the injuries by AMR at the scene.

Fuller was then taken to the Monroe County Jail on the charges of assault in the second degree, harassment in the second degree, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
