WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Officials are closing off a portion of Independence Boulevard, between Spicetree Road and River Road, due to a crash.
A Wilmington Police Department (WPD) watch commander told WECT on scene that the collision was between a vehicle and a bicycle.
The individual on the bike has been transported to the hospital, according to WPD.
