According to KXAN, Austin is no stranger to having problems with their water. Trash dumping is the major issue with the waters in Austin, and steps are being taken to improve the situation overall. “Recently, our team got some new equipment, new dive suits, and we kind of wanted to just give back to the community by cleaning up some of the scooters that have been dumped in Lady Bird Lake.”

KXAN revealed that a total of twenty scooters were discovered underneath the waters of Lady Bird Lake. They were from different brands as well, identified as from Birds and Limes. Who placed them there is tough to ascertain, as it could be anyone.
